Mark Tweten

Mark A. Tweten, 58, of Grand Forks, died Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. Mark was born March 19, 1957, the son of Selmer & Margaret (Lewis) Tweten in Grand Forks. He grew up in Grand Forks and graduated from GF Central High School. After graduation Mark moved to the Twin Cities where he worked as a hotel clerk for several hotels before returning to Grand Forks in 2005. He currently worked at the Ramada in Grand Forks. Mark enjoyed bingo and going to the casino. Mark is survived by his mother, Margaret; siblings, Patrick Bushaw, Melissa MacArthur, Karl Bushaw, Carol (Delmer) Smaaladen, Selmer "Sam" Tweten Jr., Paul Tweten, and Denise Tweten; nephews, Zachary and Jacob and special friend, Patrice Neis. He was preceded in death by his father, Selmer Tweten. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S 42nd St. in Grand Forks. VISITATION: One hour prior to the service.
