Luella Marie Homstad

Luella Homstad, 96, Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, August 30, 2015 in her home. Luella Marie Tobiason, daughter of Tobias and Olivia Tobiason was born September 1, 1918 at Hatton, ND. She attended school at Hatton and graduated in 1926. Luella Tobiason and Milton Homstad were married in 1938. They moved to Santa Barbara, CA, before moving to Portland, ND in 1944 and to Grand Forks, ND in 1955 where she lived the remainder of her life. Luella is survived by her children, Donald, David, and Richard (Jan) Homstad all of Grand Forks; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Annette Carillo; brother-in-law, Richard Homstad. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; daughter, Carol Stark. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in United Lutheran Church of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks.
