Loren L. Anderson

Loren L. Anderson, 79, of Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, October 4, 2015 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Loren was born on November 27, 1935 in Duluth, MN the son of Frank and Elizabeth (Howard) Anderson. Loren was an avid sportsman , in the fall it was hunting pheasants and deer and during the summer it was fishing and of course he liked golfing but only on days the ended with a "Y". He co-owned the Bun Lounge for a number of years. Loren also owned and operated Anderson Steel Erection for 45 years until his retirement in 1999. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and stepfather Daniel Patnaude. Survived by Children Lynn Broadwell (Randy Hakkila) Superior, WI., Kevin Anderson, So Range, WI., Brothers Barry Anderson, Iron River, WI., Jim Foldesi (Gladys), Duluth, MN. Grandsons, who he adored, Michael Broadwell, Superior ,WI., Devin Griffin, Denver, CO., Jared Anderson, So. Range, WI. and his companion of 39 years Nancy Robison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews who were very special to him and several grand nieces of nephews. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home.
