Ronald A Roth, Sr.

Ronald A. Roth, Sr., Grand Forks, ND died Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Ronald was born November 26, 1944 in Grand Forks, the son of Jacob and Eleanor (Telle) Roth. He grew up and attended schools in Grand Forks. Ron worked at Roth Sign Shop. He later worked for B & N Oil and Peavey Elevator before going to work as a truck driver for the University of North Dakota Plant Services. Ron married Dianna L. Altendorf on July 19, 1963 in Crookston, MN. Dianna passed away on October 23, 2010. Ron was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church of Grand Forks for many years. His wishes to all, "love God". Later in his life, Ron developed a passion for golf. He was proud to have shot a hole in one at King's Walk Golf Course, (the only time he ever played there). Survivors include his children, Francine (Jeff) Langehaug, Grand Forks and Ron (LeAnn) Roth, Jr, Barnesville, MN; grandchildren, Jacob Langehaug, Jarrod (Ciara) Langehaug and Justin Langehaug; great grandchild, Rylee Jo Langehaug; brothers, John (Jeanette) Roth, Grand Forks and Allen (Linda) Roth, Grand Forks; sister in law, Lorlee Roth; special friends, John and Lois Hennessy, Grand Forks; and Ron's beloved black lab, Reno. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna; sisters, Lois, Karen, Ann and Shelly; and a brother, Jim. Funeral Liturgy will be 10:30 AM Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery of Grand Forks.
