Travis Vorachek

Travis W. Vorachek, 45, Grand Forks, ND died Friday, November 6, 2015 in a tragic accident located in rural Walsh County, ND. Travis Wade Vorachek was born July 22, 1970 in Grand Forks, the son of Paul and Debby (Huseby) Vorachek. He was raised and attended schools in Park River, ND, graduating from high school in Park River. Travis graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Business Management . He was an independent Transportation Broker who contracted with Freight Ex of Grand Forks, ND. Taken away from his wife, children and family way too soon, his legacy will live forever through his three beautiful children. Travis was very self-motivated and could always lighten the mood of any room. He loved giving nicknames to his family and everyone else around him. He was obsessed with his lawn. He strived for perfection and could create the greatest meals. Anything he set his mind too, he would achieve. His children and family were his world. Travis was very much of an outdoorsman who created his own website, supertrav.com, devoted to his hunting and fishing adventures. He enjoyed time at the lake with his family. He named his hunting trailer bandwagon (license plate reads BANWAGN). Travis also played and enjoyed numerous sports including softball, golf, basketball, and was a soccer coach. Travis married Julie Kadlec on September 3, 1994. She survives along with their children, Sydney Ann, Samantha Catherine and Jacob Travis, all of Grand Forks; sister, Shosti (Jim Guidry) Vorachek, Boise, ID; brother, Kyle (Amy) Vorachek and their children, Rayni, Reece and Jaxon, Bismarck, ND; parents, Paul and Debby Vorachek, Park River, ND; grandmother, Anna-Marie Huseby, Grand Forks; mother and father-in-law, Louis D. and Sharon Kadlec, Grand Forks; sister-in-law, Kathy (Brian) Englerth and their children, Austin and Taylor, Grand Forks; brother-in-law, Louis A. (Jen) Kadlec and their daughter, Chloe, Pisek, ND; sister-in-law, Andrea Donais and her children, Ella and Jonah, Moorhead, MN; brother-in-law, John (Amy) Kadlec and their children, Carson and Levi, Pisek, ND. Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Casper Huseby, Roger and Viola Vorachek. Mass and Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church of Grand Forks. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service in the church. Visitation will continue for the hour before Mass in the church.
