The greatest and most precious gift we ever had came from God; we called her mom. Hulda T. Lindgren, passed away peacefully at Valley Elder Care/Transitional Unit in Grand Forks, ND on November 27, 2015 at the age of 97. Huldie was the first born of eight children, born to Otto and Sarah Seydel, on May 10, 1918, in Roseau County, MN. Huldie married Donald Lindgren on Oct 10, 1947 and they lived and raised their family in East Grand Forks, MN. Don passed away on July 21, 1987. Together they owned and operated Dakota Film and Express and B & R Trailer Sales. Huldie is survived by daughters, Diane Knauf, Deborah Lindgren, both of Grand Forks; son, Donaven (Linda) Lindgren, East Grand Forks, MN; and three grandchildren, Steven, Sandra and Suzanne Betz. She is also survived by her siblings, Arthur Seydel of EGF, Dorothy (Bruce) Chapman, Baudette and Delores Ladwig of Roseau; sister in law, Betty Waith, along with nieces and nephews, extended family and her many special friends. Huldie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, sister Margaret, brothers Frederick, Leroy and Raymond Seydel. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers at Comfort Keepers, Maple View Memory Care, Penny Eberhardt (Senior Companion), as well as to Bonnie Berg and Sandy Nagle, for the exceptional care and friendship provided to Huldie over the past many years. Special Thank you to Altru Hospice and Valley Elder Care/Transitional Unit staff, for the support and compassionate care provided to Huldie and her family, during the last four weeks of her life's journey. God bless her precious soul and for the many happy memories, remaining in the hearts of her family and those who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service Tuesday, December 1, 2015 also in the funeral home. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
