Harland C. Bohach, age 81, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Harland Clayton Bohach was born September 14, 1934 in Hallock, MN, the son of Nick and Esther (Ristad) Bohach. He grew up in Stephen, MN and graduated from the Northwest School of Agriculture, Crookston, MN in 1952. Harland married Marvelyn Anderson in Grand Forks on November 23, 1985. Harland worked 22 years with Solar Gas Company and many years in sales. He retired in 1999 from Eide Motors in Grand Forks. After retirement he worked part time with his promotional advertising business out of his home and also dealer transferring cars for Eide’s. Harland was a loving husband and father and adored his family. He is survived by his wife, Marvelyn, Grand Forks; one son, Randy Bohach of Post Falls, Idaho; daughters, Vicki (Daryl) Jelinek, Fargo, ND, and Lynda (Sean) Hobart, Las Vegas, NV; step-daughter, Denise (Pat) Briscoe, Oakley, CA; step-son, Scott (Anne) Anderson, East Grand Forks, MN; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Arden, grandson, Jared, granddaughter, Kaitlyn and an infant step-grandchild, Patrick Briscoe, Jr. Harland will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. He will be remembered as the man with always a smile. Harland’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Altru for the exceptional care he was given.Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2015 in Sharon Lutheran Church, 1720 S. 20th St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will be in Memorial Park North Cemetery, Grand Forks. Memorials are preferred to Sharon Lutheran Church.
