David Knutsvig

David Duane Knutsvig, 42, passed away on Dec. 11,2015. David was born on May 20, 1973 in Mayville, ND to his parents, Duane and Sylvia Knutsvig. He graduated high school from Central Valley High School in 1991. He lived in Colorado from 1994-2010. He then returned back to his home town of Buxton. David enjoyed fishing and camping in his free time. He was an avid sports fan with the Redskins being his favorite team. He was very talented and very accomplished with the art of tying flies. He also enjoyed collecting sports cards, especially baseball cards. David will always be remembered for his witty charm and his amazing smile. David is survived by his sister, Kris Lovell, her husband, Scott, nephews; Lucas, Noah and Spencer and niece, Taylor of Fort Collins, CO; sister Kathy Frazier and her husband Mark of Greeley, CO; sister Karen Hendricks, her husband Leroy, nephew Jake, nieces Abby and Ella of Waconia, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Sylvia Knutsvig. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 19 at 2:00pm in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Buxton, ND. A celebration will take place immediately following at the BarN & Grill in Buxton. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dave’s life.
