Harold Gordon Gustafson Sr.

Harold G. Gustafson Sr., 80, of Reynolds, ND, passed away January 2, 2016 at his home in Reynolds, ND. Harold Gordon Gustafson was born June 1, 1935, in Union Township, ND, the son of Carl & Amanda (Hjelmstad) Gustafson.  He grew up and attended schools in Union Township. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Harold married Alice Hensrud  on November 16, 1957, at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Thompson, ND.  Harold was a lifelong farmer and together they made their home on the family farm where Harold was born and raised. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting.  He was a member of the MOC, VFW Post 1874 and American Legion Post 157. Harold is survived by his wife, Alice; son, Harold Jr (LaRae); 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marion; brother, Thomas; brother-in-law, Allen Hensrud, and in-laws, Wallace & Euphemia Hensrud.  MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M.
