Rosalie Jean Lindstrom, 75, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Valley Eldercare Center in Grand Forks. Rosalie was born January 3, 1941, in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Gust & Hilda (Gustafson) Gunderson. She grew up in Buxton, ND, where she attended school. Rosalie married Milfred Lindstrom October 4, 1960, and they made their home in Reynolds, ND. She worked for the Reynolds Café and the Beehive Café for over 30 years before retiring. Rosalie had a witty sense of humor and would often time joke with or play a practical joke on her customers. Rosalie enjoyed baking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Tim Lindstrom of Reynolds; daughter, Erica Martin Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Myron (Donna) Gunderson of Bismarck, ND, Rodney (Lila Jean) Gunderson of Erskine, MN, Wallace (Marilyn) Gunderson of Grand Forks, Dennis (Lorna) Gunderson of Grand Forks; sisters, Mavis (Bill) Couchigan of Grand Forks, Diane Kvitne of Hillsboro; sister-in-law, Val Gunderson of Buxton, ND; granddaughter, Amanda (Jonny) McGrath of Aurora, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosalie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milfred; siblings, Orville Gunderson, Gordon Gunderson, Gayhart Gunderson and Helene Brend; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Brend & Lloyd Kvitne and sisters-in-law, Mary Ann, Theoline Gunderson. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks. Visitation: One hour prior to the funeral service.
