Mason A Moen Hendrickson

  Mason Allan Moen Hendrickson (Mase Man), 10, of Thompson, ND, left this earth to become our guardian angel, January 10, 2016 near Hatton, ND. Mason was born February 26, 2005 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Pat Hendrickson and Julie Moen. Mason lived in Thompson, ND where he attended Thompson Public School as a 5th grader. Mason was very athletic, especially in baseball, basketball and wrestling. He loved being outdoors. He was always cracking jokes, goofing off and making people laugh. He enjoyed posting videos with his brother, Kyran on YouTube and spent many hours playing Minecraft and Agar.io. Mason admired his older brothers especially Austin wanting to be well dressed and his hair always in place. Mason is survived by his father, Pat Hendrickson, Oslo, MN; mother, Julie Moen (Zach Johnson), Thompson, ND; brothers, Patrick Moen, Fargo, Austin Moen, Kyran Moen, and step brother Noah Johnson all in Thompson, ND; grandparents, Kim (Paul) Gibree and Julie Lofberg, all from Grand Forks; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Mason was preceded in death by his grandpas, Ricky Hendrickson and Craig Spicer. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 15, 2016 at Freedom Church, 308 Demers Ave, Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Oslo, Mn. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the family to be used for a future permanent memorial at the Thompson School in memory of Mason.
