Marlis Wigestrand

Marlis K. Wigestrand, 90, of Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks. Marlis Katherine Chrisitanson was born on May 31, 1925 the daughter of Marshall and Katherine (Landman) Christianson. She grew up and attended school in Logan Center and Buxton, ND.  She married Glenn Wigestrand and they lived in Buxton, ND and Fullerton, CA.  She is survived by five children: Vicki (Rick) Beno of Arizona, Terry(Kathy) Wigestrand of Buxton, ND, Todd (Sheryl) Wigestrand of Arizona, Penny(Barry) Hale of Texas, and Troy (Kim) Wigestrand of Washington; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn; two sisters, Donna Martin and Doris York; one brother, Doug Christianson; a son, Tim and great granddaughter, Paige Wigestrand. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Havig-Heen Chapel, Valley 4000. Visitation will be for one hour before the service in the chapel at Valley 4000.
