Mark A. Kuzel

  Mark A. Kuzel, 53, of Oakdale, MN and formerly of Grand Forks passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 in Regions Hospital, St. Paul, MN. Mark Allen Kuzel was born on July 1, 1962 the son of Frank and Bernadette (Bushee) Kuzel in Grand Forks, ND. Mark enlisted and served in the U.S. Army and upon being honorably discharged he worked in the Minneapolis area. One of Marks favorite things to do was to ride his motorcycle. He acquired many special friends doing this activity. He was always looking for that harder curve, faster straightaway, or that more scenic route to travel. Marks name cannot be mentioned without noting his constant companion Norton, his loyal and faithful dog that he so dearly loved. Much of Marks spare time was spent as a volunteer at various pet shelters in the Minneapolis area. His infectious smile,his heart warming laugh, and his love for all things will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by, sisters, Debbie (Art) Bakken, Grand Forks, Karen (Rick) Olson, Grand Forks and Bonnie Brouse, Rochester, MN; Sister in Law, Susan Kuzel, Grand Forks, ND; Step Sister, Roxanne Lunski, Grand Forks, ND; Step Brother, Roderick (Diane) Schnebli, Grand Forks, ND; many nieces and nephews; and, special friend, Linda Larson, South St. Paul, MN. Mark was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Roy Schnebli; brothers, Dale and Wayne; and, Brother in Law, Tom Lunski. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home.
