Thomas G. Bougie

Thomas “Tom” George Bougie, 63, of Grand Forks, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Thomas George Bougie was born on October 14, 1952, the son of George and Joyce (Fundingsland) Bougie. He grew up and attended school in Grand Forks and graduated from Central High School. He served in the US Navy until being honorably discharged.  He married Debra Burke at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Forks in August 1971. Tom owned and operated an automotive aftermarket sales business out of Grand Forks.  Tom loved spending time with his family and especially his three granddaughters. He also enjoyed his pet birds, competition shooting, golfing and gun collecting. He will be missed. Tom is survived by his wife of nearly 45 years, Debra from Grand Forks; sons, Derek 43, and Danny 41, granddaughters; Jordan 22, Piperlily 3, Ivorewillow 13 mo. from CA. brother; Paul 73 from NM, sister Mary from MN   A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 21. 2016 at 1:00 PM in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home.
