Arvid P. Anderson

Arvid Anderson, 93, formerly from Warwick and Grand Forks, ND died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Twin Rivers Assisted Living in Cannon Falls, MN. Arvid was born February 9, 1923 in Warwick ND, the son of Michael and Anna (Peterson) Anderson. He graduated High School in 1941 in Sydney, Montana. In 1941-1942 he joined the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Sydney, MT.  In 1942-1943 worked as a welder in Bremerton, WA. He entered the USAF 4/29/43 discharged 2/27/46. Arvid married Mary Peterson but later divorced.  He married Jeanette Moen   6/18/82.  She died 5/10/06.  He retired from Edlund Construction in 1988 as a Construction Superintendent. Arvid moved to Rochester MN in 2007. Arvid is survived by his daughters, Tracy Anderson (Jim Alexander)  Rochester MN, Alison (Tim) Olson  Eagan MN; stepdaughters,  Margo Dahlgren,  Adams, ND, Patti Veil,  Fargo, ND; sister, Gladys Morrow, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Joshua Anderson,  Rochester, MN,  Justin Anderson,  Rochester MN,  Danielle Olson, Eagan, MN He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeanette; sisters, Alma Peterson and Eileen Sinon and a grandson, Tyler. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be donated to Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org  Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Warwick Lutheran Church in Warwick, ND.
