Paul Dale Sennie was born April 10, 1957 in Manitoba, Canada to Doris Slater and the late Paul Graves of Red Lake, MN and passed away March 15th in his home. Paul lived his young life in a foster home on the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Reservation in North Dakota. His survivors are Megan Sennie of Bethel, AK, Paul Dale Sennie, Jr. of Fargo, ND, Della Rae Harry, Destiny Harry, Damien Harry, Dean, and Shane Tikanye of Cannonball, ND. His surviving brothers are Darren, Duane, His surviving sister is Donna. His beloved grandchildren are Jin, Amber, Aurora, Amir. Although he did not know all of his children and grandchildren well, he spoke of them often. Paul worked as a blackjack dealer at Mystic Lake Casino for several years. In 1989, Paul and his partner Monique Vondall met. In 1995, they married in Las Vegas, Nevada and divorced in 2000 but remained friends. Several years prior to his death, Paul was disabled due to several medical conditions. He spent his last years living in Grand Forks, ND where he quickly made friends. Paul enjoyed his children's visits, and especially enjoyed his grandchildren's visits. His daughter Della and her husband Nasser often visited from Winnipeg, Manitoba with their children. He loved basketball, playing and watching, playing pool and pool tournaments and visiting with others. Paul will be remembered for the way he made everyone laugh with his witty humor and blunt expressions. He had both a young and an old soul. He always spoke of how proud he was and how much he love all his children and grandchildren and when they were all able to get together he was at his happiest. Memorial service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Amundson Funeral Home.Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
