Gerald Joseph Miller

  Gerald J. Miller, 63, Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Inkster, ND, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Gerald Joseph Miller was born March 25, 1953 in Michigan, ND the son of George and Rose (Cihlar) Miller. He was raised and graduated from high school at Adams, ND. At a young age, Gerald began working for the Soo Line Railroad. He later worked for the Canadian Pacific Railroad and the Northern Plains Railroad until his retirement in 2013. Because of his career with the railroad, Gerald lived in numerous cities throughout North Dakota. Gerald Loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was a member of The Norseman Motorcycle club. He was also an avid deer hunter. Gerald married Susan Arneson on October 24, 1994. She survives along with a brother, Marlin (special friend, Gail) Miller, Grand Forks; sister, Virginia (Phil) Blomquist, Grafton, ND; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Linda Miller. A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home.
