Gregory Knutson

Gregory "Greg" Knutson, 64, Grand Forks, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 in his home at Linden Place Apartments. Greg Knutson was born October 30, 1951 to Doris (Kordahl) and Jerome T Knutson Sr. in Grand Forks, ND.  Greg attended Agassiz in Grand Forks for Twenty years. He participated in Special Olympics and loved all sports, especially basketball. He enjoyed going to dances at the LISTEN Center and was the best country dancer is his group. Visiting and having coffee with his friends was his favorite pastime. Greg spent his summers growing up at their cabin in Bemidji. He is preceded in death by his parents Doris & Jerome Knutson and his brother Ted Knutson, whom he always looked up to. He is survived by his "Family" at REM ND who have loved him like their own for the past Thirty years, his Friends at Linden Place and his Buddy Jamie, Sister-in law Estelle Knutson, Nephews Todd, Troy & Kelly Knutson, Aunts Elderid Everly and Ruth Olson, numerous cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 followed by a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. all in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks.
