Lorann Marie Broderson

Lorann “Tudy” M. Broderson, 73, of Buxton, ND, died Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Halstad Living Center, Halstad, MN. Tudy was born October 13, 1942, in Grand Forks, the daughter of James & Edith Aasen.  She grew up and attended schools in Grand Forks. She also attended Aaker’s Business College. Tudy married Stewart Broderson in 1969.  She worked for American Crystal Sugar starting in 1978 on the pilers and into the factory in 1992 at various jobs until she retired in 2011. She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino and BBQ’s with family & friends. Tudy is survived by Stewart Broderson; her children, Sheri (Ron Nikle) Flaten of Minto, ND,  Erik (Bobbi) Broderson of Reynolds, ND, Mar Dee (Tim) Spurgeon of Buxton, ND; sisters, Barb Belt of Grand Forks and Deb (Darrell) Trytten of Dickinson, ND, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews and good friend, Kandi. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Peter & Laura Fehr; parents, Jim & Edith Aasen, daughter, Lori Parent; granddaughter, Brandi Parent and brother, Donald Ausen. Memorial service:  10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17 in Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND, Visitation: One hour prior to the memorial service.
