Dean Edward Hruska

Dean E. Hruska, 73, of Grand Forks, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Valley Eldercare Center in Grand Forks. Dean was born September 9, 1942 in Waseca, MN, the son of Louis & Mildred (Wilson) Hruska.  He graduated from Waterville High School. He joined the US Air Force and served 4 years before his honorable discharge. Dean worked for Boeing in Cheyenne, WY, and most recently worked at Community Bank for 37 years before his retirement in 2009. He was very personable and enjoyed visiting with everyone he came in contact with.  He also enjoyed collecting, hunting, fishing and was a lifetime member of Sertoma Club. Dean is survived by his sons, Kevin (Renee) Hruska, Todd (Karrie) Hruska; brother, Glenn (Mary) Hruska; sister, Beverly Gonzales; grandchildren, Hanna, Hyatt, Spencer, Crosby, Cameran, Samara and great-granddaughter, Jaci. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Bill Gonzales. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Wesley United Methodist Church 1600 4th Ave N in Grand Forks.
