Scott Tufte

Scott A. Tufte, 56, Grand Forks, died Monday, September 19, 2016 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Scott Arnold Tufte, the son of Arnold and Shirley Tufte was born on July 8, 1960 at Northwood, North Dakota.  He lived at Emerado, North Dakota, and graduated from Larimore, North Dakota High School in 1979.  Scott Tufte and Brenda Holcomb were united in marriage on May 16, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  They resided in Grand Forks following their marriage.   Scott was employed in the meat department at Sam’s Club for over 20 years.  Scott enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas.  He enjoyed the Minnesota Vikings, pets and animals, woodworking and carpentry, and electronic gadgets, and building computers.  He was a huge fan of Star Wars and Star Trek.  Scott is survived by his wife, Brenda, Grand Forks;  a son, Hunter, Grand Forks; his parents, Arnold and Shirley, Grand Forks;   sisters, Candace Fuehrer (William), Emerado, ND, and Teresa Simms (Dwaylon), Grand Forks;  several nieces and nephews; family friends, Tammy Christenson, Yogi Gilbertson, Robin Loegering, Patricia and Kevan Greene, all of Grand Forks.      Memorial Services:  2:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks with visitation one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
