Cameron L Deleski, 54 of Emerado, ND, passed away on Saturday, October 1st, 2016 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Cameron was born June 19th, 1962 in Grand Forks, the son of Leonard Deleski and the late Rita (Peterson) Deleski. He grew up and attended school in Grand Forks. Cameron married Debbie Finnie July 22nd, 1988 at Sharon Lutheran Church and had one son. Cameron was never afraid to get his hands dirty and had a strong work ethic. On October 12th of 1984, he began his career at Florian and Sons Excavating where he was part owner in the company. He was a skilled expert when it came to running heavy equipment. He was usually the first person there and the last person to leave a job site. He took great pride in all jobs big or small. In the fall of 1997, Cameron and Debbie moved to their country home near Emerado where Cameron spent his days working on machinery in the garage, splitting wood, up keeping the yard, and playing plenty of pinnacle. Cameron enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors. He frequently visited his favorite spot along the Sheyenne River where along with his son, family, and friends help build his dream hunting shack. Cameron is survived by his wife Debbie; son, Tyler Finnie, Grand Forks; father, Leonard Deleski, Emerado; siblings: Stephen (Laura) Deleski, Willmar, MN, Mona Snell, Grand Forks, Tami Jo (Duane) Bertsch, Grand Forks; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Rita, uncle Paddy, and his grandparents. Memorial service will be held Friday, October 7th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Sharon Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials given to the family will be given to a charity of the family’s choice.
