William Joseph “Bill” Crow, 83, Grand Forks, died Sunday, October 23, 2016 in Valley Memorial Homes Eldercare Center, Grand Forks. William Joseph Crow, the son of William E. and Elsie (Kyseth) Crow, was born on April 26, 1933 at Neillsville, Wisconsin. He was raised and educated at Cavalier, North Dakota and Warren, Minnesota, graduating from Warren High School in 1952. He started his education at the University of North Dakota, but after completion of one semester, he served in the US Army in the Korean War. Bill returned to UND and completed a degree in Marketing. He became a manager for the CR Anthony Department Stores in locations in South Dakota, Montana, and Cavalier, North Dakota. He later furthered his education with a degree in Accounting. He became the Budget Director at UND until his retirement in 1993. William married Bonny MacGregor on November 3, 1973 at Crookston, Minnesota. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, archery, and trap and target shooting. Bill is survived by his wife, Bonny, Grand Forks; a daughter, April (Kyle) Martin, Bismarck, ND; a son, Paul Crow, Grand Forks; two grandsons, William, and Maxwell; a brother, Robert Crow, Topeka, Kansas; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2016 in First Presbyterian Church, 5555 S. Washington St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. Prayer Service Thursday, November 3, 2016 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks.
