Ed Hill

"Ed" Hill, 70, Grand Forks, North Dakota, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at his home.  Ed was born September 2, 1946 in Durham, North Carolina. He was the son of Margaret and Archabald Hill. Ed served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked in carpentry for many years.   Ed is survived by daughters, Dawn Thompson, Kristina Nissen, Suzanne Hill, and Tiffany (Brad) McGauvran, Grand Forks;  grandchildren, Corey (Kristin) Thompson, Austin Bouvette, Sydney and Avery Nissen, Hailey and Taylor McGauvran;  2 Great-Grandsons, Oliver and Theodore Bouvette;  a sister, Donna Whiteley, and  his cats, Bandit and Molly.  He was preceded in death by his parentsMemorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks with military honors rendered by the North Dakota Army National Guard and the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 2, Grand Forks.
