Tammy Jo Weaver-Mundahl

  Tammy Jo Weaver, 49, Grand Forks, ND, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Tammy was born March 6, 1967 to Ronald and Geraldine (Kvamme) Weaver in Grand Forks. She attended school in Grand Forks and graduated from Central High School in 1985.   Tammy worked in property management for her parent’s buildings. She later moved to Minneapolis and attended college While living in Lakeville, MN where she worked as a Health Unit Coordinator at a hospital. She was also a very talented dancer and taught Country and Western dance classes. Tammy later moved to Montana where she was injured in an automobile accident and was paralyzed. She returned to Grand Forks in 2002.   Tammy was active in the Church of Christ and baptized in 2005. Her Love for God was above all and her spirit and smile was one that touched many. She loved taking her dog, Grizzly, for walks, stopping along the way to talk to everyone she could. She also enjoyed being in the sunshine and time near the lake. She loved the outdoors and had a great passion for horses and, horseback riding.   Survivors include her sisters, Wendy (Weaver) Grabanski, Madison, WI and Jody Weaver, Grygla, MN; …… Her Nieces Michaela, Maggie and Savannah, and nephews, Joey and Devon.  Also her dear friend and caregiver Dan Griggs.   She was preceded in death by her parents (Ron and Geri), grandparents and niece Destiny.   Memorial Services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home.
