Scott James Rieger Scott, a wonderful husband, son, brother, co-worker and friend passed away on Wednesday, Oct 26, 2016 unexpectedly.  Scott was born December 8, 1974 in Grand Forks, ND to Margaret Fedje (Rieger) and Rodger Rieger. Scott grew up in Grand Forks, graduated from Red River High School and attended UND, earning a BS in Electrical Engineering. During high school and college, he worked at Ron’s Electric in Grand Forks. Since graduation, he has worked at Dunham Associates in Minneapolis, MN as a Senior Electrical Associate and obtained his Professional Engineer certificate in 2007. In November 1999, Scott met his love, Trina Pitts. They married on February 12, 2007 in the Dominican Republic. They have two fur babies, Dakota and Windsor, and live in Brooklyn Center, MN. Scott is well known for his dry humor, classic one liner timing and his vast array of useless trivial knowledge. He is a UND Sioux hockey fan, loves golf and football and was great at woodworking. His greatest attribute was the continued friendships he has developed over the years, from grade school, college and in his professional career. He is survived by his wife, Trina, his mother, Margaret Fedje in Grand Forks, his sister Chris, her husband, Jon (Ault) with children Alison and Erik in West Fargo, his brother Tom in Houston, TX;  his mother in law, Rose Pitts in Jamestown, ND, his brother in law, Nic Pitts, sister in law Michelle Blakeman with children Jack and Harlow in West Fargo. Also significant in his life are extended family, friends and colleagues. Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Sharon Lutheran Church, 1720 S. 20th Street in Grand Forks, on Thursday, November 3,, 2016.  12:30-1:30 will be visitation, 1:30-2:00 will be story sharing and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m
