Irene E. Chisholm

Irene E.  Chisholm, 92, of Wickenburg, AZ, formerly of Manvel, ND, died on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in her home. Irene Jarombek, the daughter of Leo and Lenora (Radonski)  Jarombek, was born in Walsh County, North Dakota on  October 27, 1924.  She married Thomas A. Chisholm March 3, 1944 in St. Paul, Minnesota.  They lived and farmed at Rural Manvel, North Dakota.  She is survived by her children, Jeanette (Jerome) Kukacka, Joanne (Jerry) Wright, Tom Chisholm, Mary (Steve) Hoverson, Dan (Cathy) Chisholm, Keith (Lori) Chisholm, Ken (Mary) Chisholm, Bonnie (Mike) Hagen, Doug Chisholm, and Rodney Chisholm; daughters-in-law, Shannon Chisholm, Martha Awes, and Peggy Chisholm;  18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Aneta Staus, Ted Jarombek, Raymond (Joyce) Jarombek, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Thomas, parents, Leo and Lenora; two sons, Larry and Donald, an infant son; sisters, Nora, Helen, Marcella;  a brother, Leo;  sons-in-law, Paul Schmadebeck, and Brian Lind. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Manvel, North Dakota.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Memorials are preferred to the Manvel Senior Center.  Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks is in charge of arrangements.   Online guestbook is available at www.amundsonfuneralhome.com.
