Bobbie M. Hulst, 76, Grand Forks, ND, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 in Aneta Parkview Health Center, Aneta, ND. Bobbie Marvin Hulst was born August 5, 1940, the son of Rudolph and Lena (Gulbranson) Hulst in Badger, MN. Bob attended school in Badger and later moved to the Grand Forks area. Bob married Shirley Becker on October 13, 1970 in Roseau, MN. Following their marriage, they lived in Emerado, ND. They moved to Roseau, MN where they were employed at Polaris Manufacturing. Later, they purchased and operated a restaurant in Fosston, MN. Bob and Shirley moved to Grand Forks where he drove taxi, worked at the beet plant during the winter months, and owned and operated a carnival during the summer months. Along with his son Rodney, Bob owned and operated B & R Parking Lot Maintenance in Grand Forks. Bob had a great love of playing Bingo. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by sons, Robert (Michelle) Hulst, Rodney (Charle) Hulst, Grand Forks, Marvin Hulst, Grand Forks, and Kelly martin, North Carolina; daughters, Tina Hulst, Fargo, ND, Amelia Hulst, Grand Forks, Corrina Sogge, Grand Forks, and Patricia Bjornson, Grand Forks; step daughter, Connie (Dave) Larson, Larimore, ND; 24 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Habben, Minnesota and Olga Johnson, Oregon; and all the family and friends that loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hulst; his parents, Rudolph and Lena Hulst; brother, Leonard Hulst; and a step brother, Carl Gulbranson. Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM Friday, December 2, 2016 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks.
