Krissy Lynn Hastings, 35, Mandan, North Dakota and formerly of Grand Forks, North Dakota, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in Bismarck, North Dakota. Krissy Lynn Hastings was born December 13, 1981 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Mark Hastings and Patricia (Holter) Hastings. She grew up and attended schools in Grand Forks. Krissy's employment and hobbies included bartending at Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse, cake decorating at Cashwise, pet sitting in California, Denver and she recently started her own pet sitting business on Rover.com in North Dakota, she traveled with Aussie Kingdom taking care of kangaroos. Krissy had a strong love for animals. Krissy is survived by her father, Mark T. Hastings, St. Joseph, MO; mother, Patricia E. Hastings, Manvel, ND; step-grandmother, Elaine Hastings, Shorewood, MN; brother, Robert Thomas Hastings, Grand Forks, ND, twin sister, Katie Ann Hastings, Grand Forks, sister Lianne Renae Johnson, Mandan, ND. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lloyd G. Holter, Hazel B. Holter, East Grand Forks, MN; Orville T. Hastings, Shorewood, MN, Ramona R. Palya, Grand Forks, ND; uncle, Thomas G. Hastings, Sierra Vista, AZ; and aunt, Renae R. Hastings, Grand Forks, ND. Memorial Services: will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks, ND with visitation one hour prior to the service.
