Helen Grace Schultz

Helen Grace Schultz, 93, of Manvel, ND, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton, ND. Helen was born February 20, 1923, in Hunter, ND, the daughter of John & Ida Winge. She moved to Manvel in her teens and graduated from Manvel High School. She married Dominick Schultz in 1948 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Grand Forks. Together they made their home in Manvel.  Dominick died in 1971. Helen worked as a cook for 20 years until her retirement in 1984.  She also worked part time for the Manvel Store. She enjoyed crocheting and baking. She was a member of the Manvel American Legion Auxiliary and St. Timothy’s Catholic Church Alter Society. Helen is survived by her son, Dennis (Marie) Schultz of Manvel, ND and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominick; brothers, Joe, Dave and Henry; sisters, Sally, Minnie, Cal and Irene. MEMORIAL MASS: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at St. Timothy’s in Manvel, ND. VISITATION: One hour prior to the service at the church. INURNMENT: (At a later date) St. Timothy’s Catholic Cemetery, Manvel, ND.
