Kristen Leigh Guillemette

Kristen Leigh (Bear) Guillemette, 24, Grand Forks, ND, died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at home. Kristen was born March 25, 1992 in Grand Forks, the daughter of Jeff Bear and Vicki Olson. She was raised and educated in Grand Forks and graduated from high school in 2009. She was employed at the front desk of Canad Inn and Splasher’s Water Park. In 2013, Kristen graduated from Northland Technical College with a degree in Medical Office Administrative Assistant. Kristen first and foremost loved being a mom and loving and caring for her children. She also enjoyed making jewelry, music, crocheting and Knitting, was a tattoo artist, and had a passion for fishing. Survivors include her husband, Richard Guillemette, Grand Forks; children, Bailey, Kyleigh and Macy, Grand Forks; her parents, Jeff Bear, Grand Forks and Vicki Olson, Fosston, MN ; brother, Alex Bear, Grand Forks; grandmother, Ruth Rieger, Grand Forks; grandpa, Gerald Bear; grandparents, Dennis and Eloise Olson, Fosston, MN. Kristen was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roger Rieger; her aunt, Kathy Olson and uncle, Dennis Olson, Jr. and many other relatives who have passed on and are not named here. Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2017 in University Lutheran Church of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the church.
