Brenda Kay Stutsman, 64, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on January 11, 2017 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND.Brenda Kay, the daughter of Earl Junior Mothershed and Alma Jean Richardson was born on August 9, 1952 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.Brenda graduated from Fountain Lake High School and attended Garland County Community College in Arkansas. Brenda worked at San Joaquin General Hospital in California, Police Dispatcher in Willits, California , Social worker in Ukiah, California. Brenda loved Twins Baseball, Vikings Football, camping, fishing, reading, puzzles, board games, but most of all, She loved her family and friends. Brenda is predeceased by her father Earl Junior Mothershed, her sister Delores Mothershed, her Grandparents Clyde L. Mothershed and Martha Belle Mothershed, Aunt Myrtle Lane, her Uncles Jerry Mothershed and Carol Mothershed, previous spouses Wilfred Shorty Harrell, James Leroy Stutsman. Brenda is survived by her children, Tony Ward(Lena), Sophia Chancellor(Jerry), Jennifer Cuyle(Joshua), Martha Kelley(Jeff), Ronnie, Scott, Denny, Tammy, Dawn, Crystal, Dale, Larry, Patty. Her Siblings Michael Mothershed(Rebecca), Rebecca Poole(Eddie), Sean Miller(Ludie), Lisa Perry(James), Thomas Wheeler(Theresa), Vicky Dolittle(Terry), Becky Dickerson(Charlie), Randy Brown, Cousin Betty Stutsman(more like a sister). Her mother's Alma Richardson and Sophia Freeman. Her Grandchildren Cory Tompkins(Kelsey), Jessica Chandler(John), Shawn Ward(Jenna), Anthony Ward, Danielle Ward, Victoria Ward, Jenna Gehrtz(Clayton), Brendan Ingram, Donovan Balboa, Jerry Chancellor III(Zoe), Joshua Chancellor(Brittney), Matthew Chancellor, Tavia Coble, Jaicee Chancellor, Kaitlyn Kelley, Nicholas Kelley, Gabrielle Hollins. Her Great Grandchildren Willow Tompkins, Derek James Chandler, William Chandler, Liam Gehrtz, Hayden Gehrtz. Her Aunts Doris McCutcheon, Rose Mothershed. Previous spouse David Barrett. Many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017, in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home.
