Robyn Leigh (Pladson-Key) Brusegaard, 46, passed away January 23, 2017 at her home in Gilby. ND. Robyn was born April 28, 1970, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, the daughter of Robert & Leah (Foss) Pladson. She lived in Alvarado, MN, Big Fork, MT and Greely, CO where she graduated from High School. She attended UND and played for the basketball team. Robyn had a variety of careers. She was opening manager for several restaurants across ND, and landed in Bismarck where she switched to radio sales. She had a passion for politics and public policy. She ran advocacy campaigns in New York, and Washington, D.C. and managed a congressional campaign in Chicago. She was a former board member for the Young Republican National Federation. Robyn met Tom in Bismarck during the 2001 legislative session. She moved to the Grand Forks area where they were married on March 27, 2004. She was an avid reader, LOVED history and was always open for a discussion on any number of topics. If you wanted to get on her good side all you had to do was compliment her purse or her shoes. She was very happy when the Boston Red Sox won the World Series championship in 2004. Her two boys meant everything to her. Watching Logan or Alex play in a sporting event, or succeed at a school related project would light her face with joy.
