Celeste Ann Wold, 58, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017, in Grand Forks, ND, at Altru Hospital after a long struggle with COPD. Celeste was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on September 6, 1958, and was raised there by her parents, Harold and Violet Wold. After her father’s death, Celeste, who was caring for her mother, moved with her in 1991 to Grand Forkswhere her sister was living. Over the years Celeste suffered from serious health issues, but she was able to spend 21 years with her loving partner, Clark Hill, and their son, Nathan Hill. Celeste was artistic and enjoyed drawing, she loved to laugh, she took great pride in nurturing her plants and flowers, and she especially cherished spending time with her precious family and their two cats. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister. She is survived by Clark Hill, and their son, Nathan Hill, and her “sister”, Linda Hill Pladson and family. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 10:00 AM, at Memorial Park North Cemetery in Grand Forks.
