Clint Rodningen, Jr., 75, Grand Forks, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Clinton Leslie Rodningen, Jr., the son of Clinton Rodningen, Sr. and Leone (Flem) Rodningen of Petersburg, North Dakota, was born August 30, 1941 at the Deaconess Hospital in Northwood, North Dakota. At a young age, Clint moved with his family to Grand Forks. He was raised and educated in Grand Forks, graduating from Central High School in 1959. He served in the US Army. Clint graduated from UND with a degree in accounting and locally worked for Leo Bell during college. He started his own accounting firm in Grand Forks and later joined Froelich, Paulson, and Moore as a bonding agent. In recent years he was a bonding agent for Klein Agency, Inc. Clint married Helene Gerszewski. He later married Carol Winslow. On July 10, 2010 Clint married Susan Geronimo. Clint was a private pilot and was member of the Nodak Flying Club. He enjoyed fishing at Lake of The Woods, Northwest Angle. Clint was very fond of riding his motorcycle. He also loved his kitties, Micah and Mariah. While working for Valley Contracting during his college years he became a member of the Grand Forks Builders and Traders Exchange, continuing his membership through his lifetime, serving as the President in 1995, Secretary-Treasurer for many years, and was inducted as a lifetime member in 1995. Clint is survived by his wife, Susan, Grand Forks; daughters, Brenda Johnson (Keith) , Hallock, MN, Barb Winslow Sisk (Cliff), Glendale, AZ; sons, Neal Rodningen (Melani), Grand Forks; David Rodningen, Warsaw, ND, and Terry Winslow, Dickinson, ND; grandchildren, Marie Johnson, Ryan Rodningen, Katie Rodningen, Samantha Countryman (Joel) , Josh Miller, Corey Bowen; great granddaughter, Hazlee; brother, Don Rodningen (Patty), Brainerd, MN; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, Carol Rodningen, and a son, David Winslow. Funeral Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2017 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1710 Cherry St., Grand Forks with visitation one hour prior to the service in the church.
