Cicely Muriel Latraille

Cicely Muriel Latraille, 91, Grand Forks, died Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Valley Eldercare. Cicely was born August 5, 1926 in Sharpness, England to Frances and Ivy (Parsons) Webb. She grew up in Bristol, England and towards the end of WWII, she met Raymond Latraille. They were married on March 12, 1945, in England. They moved to Glasston, North Dakota. In 1960, they moved to Grafton, ND where they made their home. Cicely enjoyed her time working for Ben Franklin Craft Store in Grafton for 20 years. She loved being foster grandparent for 20 years and she helped with the head start program. In 1995, she moved to Grand Forks. She loved spending time with her family. She liked to watch golf on TV especially when Tiger was playing. She also like to watch UND Hockey, crocheting, knitting and making quilts. Cicely is survived by her children: Lewis (Mary) Latraille, Everett, WA, Patrick Latraille, Everett, WA, Carol (LeRoy) Gothberg, Emerado, Elsie (Daryl) Wosick, Grand Forks, grandchildren: Danny (Rachel) Gothberg, Pamela (Mike) VanVorst, Aaron Gothberg, Christopher Latraille, Casey Latraille, Vicki Latraille, Kari Wosick, Kelly Wosick, 16 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, son David and her brother John. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Grand Forks. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home. Burial will be held in St. John’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Grafton, ND.
