KEITH CHAPMAN Keith Chapman, age 31 of St. Cloud, MN formerly Grand Forks, died in his home on Friday, October 6, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Park River, ND. Keith Brian Gene Chapman, was born on April 15th 1986 to Jeannie Marie Chapman in Portland, Oregon. He moved with his mother at a young age to Grafton, ND. Keith was reared and educated in the area. Keith’s mother passed away at a very young age and he took a paternal stance to his younger siblings, Kevin and Kassandra. Always loving, protecting, and providing for them. In 2004 he moved to Grand Forks and proudly worked for one of the best steakhouses around, Speedway, for many years. He was ‘the boss of the kitchen’, he was the best cook around. Keith met Kendra VanAkeren and he was positive that he met the love of his life and his soulmate. In 2014 Keith moved to St. Cloud, MN to start his life with Kendra, where they welcomed a beautiful little girl into the world; Peyton J. Faith. His family was his life, he always said that his daughter was his greatest accomplishment. He has resided there since. Keith always put his heart and soul into being the best brother, father, lover, protector, provider and friend anyone could have. Keith fought his own demons his entire life he experienced more pain and tragedy than most people do in a lifetime. Yet remained strong for everyone around him, no matter how he felt inside. He was always calm, cool, and collected. He was as brave as he was strong Keith always overcame every obstacle that he encountered. Keith was a one of a kind, a person that many people strived to be like. Although his time on Earth is done; his memory will live on through everyone who loved him. Keith was welcomed into heaven by his maternal great-grandparents, Dallas and Genevieve Chapman and his Mother Jeannie Marie Chapman. Survived by his soulmate, Kendra Jo VanAckeren; daughter Peyton J. Faith Chapman; siblings Kevin and Kassandra; grandparents Elizabeth Gunville; Eugene and Ann Marie Chapman; aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews and friends.
