Millie Loseth passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 4000 Valley Square-Woodside Village in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Mildred Irene (Hemmah) Loseth was born October 25, 1924 in Roslyn, SD to Adolph and Josephine (Pederson) Hemmah. Millie was united in marriage to Harvey P. Loseth in Minneapolis, MN in 1947. The couple resided in Minneapolis, MN until 1959 at which time they moved to Grand Forks and worked for her brother, Jim Hemmah, at Electronics Associates #26. Harvey and Millie purchased Forx Rental in the early 60’s and operated until Harvey passed away in 1968. Millie then worked at Team Electronics until she retired. Her retirement was filled with girl trips including her sisters, nieces, daughters and granddaughters. She also enjoyed woodworking, painting, rosemaling and working in her gardens. Millie is survived by her daughters; Linda (Tom) O’Toole, Crystal, ND; Debbie (Scott) Rice, Grand Forks, ND. One sister, Thelma Granquist, Richfield, MN; sister-in-law Beverly Hemmah, Sturgis, SD. Six grandchildren; Kevin (Theresa) O’Toole, Shoreview, MN; Jen (Todd) Zebrasky, Halifax, MA; Jodee (Brett) Brown, Mentor, MN; Jaime (Jennifer) Burris, Sartell, MN; Jay Rice, Wisconsin; and Jessica Rice (Ryan Corbett), Grand Forks, ND. Seventeen great-grandchildren; Samantha (Tim), Nathaniel, Isaac, Jordan, Lucas, Caleb, Mariah, Tanner, Riley, Chay, Delaney, Cassie, Tommy, Taylor, Shay, Quentin, Kyler and one great-great grandchild, Wyatt. Millie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother-in-law, Eloy Loseth; brothers, Rueben (Boob), Selmer (Sam), Clarence (Shorty) and James; sisters, Agnes Holm, Edna Steensland and Alma (Toots) Olson; and grandson Chad Rice. Memorials preferred to Valley Memorial Foundation, 2900 14th Ave. South, Grand Forks, ND 58201. Services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks, ND with visitation 1 hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park North Cemetery, Grand Forks.
