James “Jim” Bradford Auville, 69, Grand Forks, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 in his home. Jim was born November 4, 1948 in Morgantown, West Virginia, to Richard and Mary (Molisee) Auville. He grew up in Masontown, WV. Later they moved to Coolville, OH where Jim graduated from Warren High School in Barlett, OH. In 1968, Jim entered the US Air Force. He served as a Master Sargent in the Military Police where he worked with the K-9 units. He retired in June of 1990 after 21 years of service. On June 13, 1972, Jim was united in marriage to Thongkon Sumneing. Jim was always working on something in his garage, or fixing something with the house. He also liked to garden, collect cars, spend time with his family, helping to take care of them. Jim is survived by his wife, Thongkon, son, Joey Sumneing, daughter, Tipwan Womark, grandchildren; Michael, Mary Ann, Jessica, Omea, and Jamaya, sisters Mary Louise Auville Simpson, Donna Ann Avuille Chancey. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Richard Vance Auville, Jr. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
