Andrea C. Dozhier

Andrea C. Dozhier, 27, Grand Forks, ND, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Grand Forks.  Andrea Christine Laughlin was born May 19, 1990 in Grand Forks, the daughter of Tom and Jule (Pokrzywinski) Laughlin. She was raised in Grand Forks and graduated from Red River High School in 2008, then attended UND.  Andrea married her high school sweetheart, Andrew Dozhier, on June 4, 2011. Andrea’s greatest joy in life came from time spent raising and nurturing their two beautiful daughters Madisyn Kate & Myla Frances. Her girls loved many wonderful things about Andrea, especially her good night kisses & hugs. They will always remember her saying “Have a good day, make good choices, and I love you,” every day when she dropped them off at school. Andrew was deployed three times during their marriage and each time Andrea proved to be a devoted military wife and mother. Her entire family and role as a mother were the most important things to her. This is where she drew her strength and left her legacy.   Survivors include her husband, Andrew; daughters Madisyn and Myla; parents, Tom and Jule Laughlin, Grand Forks, ND; brothers, Matt (Sabina) Laughlin, East Grand Forks, MN and Derek Laughlin, Saint Paul, MN; sister, Abbey (Fiancé, Clinton Senn) Laughlin, Grand Forks, ND; Father–in–law and mother-in-law, Randy and Margaret Dozhier, Grand Forks, ND; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church in Grand Forks. Visitation will be an hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery of Grand Forks.
