Our angel was called to heaven. Grandma Edna, Grandma Esther, Aunt Judy and many others were waiting to welcome her with loving arms into the Lord's home. Christina Mae Molfino, 38 years old, passed on to her eternal life, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Valley Eldercare Center surrounded by her loving family. Chrissy was born March 18, 1980, at Travis Air Base in California, the daughter of James & Jackie Molfino. She grew up in Grand Forks and attended Lincoln Elementary, South Middle School, and graduated from Red River High School in 1998. She went on to attend the University of North Dakota where she met her knight in shining armor, Chris Allery. She moved to Bemidji to be with Chris where she finished her education at Bemidji State University where she graduated with honors. Chrissy and Chris were married for eight years before they parted ways. Chrissy loved her many dogs and cats she had throughout her life. One in particular, Daisy, was her special basset hound. Chrissy grew up watching wrestling with her dad. WrestleMania was always right around her birthday. And Chrissy loved the ROCK! So much so, the girls in Mayville got her a pillow case with the Rock on it so she could always have him by her side. Chrissy's claim to fame came when she spent a summer in Boise, Idaho as an intern. She worked with Dick Cheney's sister. Even though she always claimed to be a Democrat, she said she still liked her!Chrissy will be missed by her parents, James & Jackie of Grand Forks; her sister Sara Molfino (Brett Anderson) of Reynolds; her very special nephews Logan and Brody Bye and her very special niece Ava Bye, uncles Paul (Rhana), Rick (Madelon), Steve (Patti), Gene, Mike (Rosie), Tracy (Sallie) Molfino, Gary (Eloise), Pat (Kandy) Robertson, and aunts Florence Froschheiser, Vicki Robertson. Chrissy is preceded in death by her grandparents Enrico and Edna Molfino, Roy and Esther Robertson, uncles Gene (Irene) and Frank Robertson and aunt Judy (Don) McConnachie. Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND with visitation one hour prior to the service.
