Marie Suzanne (Miller) Schultz, 70, of Manvel, ND passed away peacefully with her husband by her side.

Marie was born on March 18, 1953 to Eugenia Miller.

On June 2, 1984 Marie married Dennis Schultz.  They made their home in Manvel, ND where they continued to reside. Marie was employed by L& Meats in Grand Forks for 31 years. 

Marie had a love for gardening whether it was the beautiful flower gardens she tended too or the ginormous garden that had everything you could possibly think of in it.  Her surplus of homemade canned concoctions proved her green thumb.  

Marie loved animals of all sorts.  Rescuing birds who happened to smash into the window, kittens who were left behind and nurturing all with food and kindness.  

Marie and Dennis made many memories together starting with their road trip adventures on the motorcycle with the latest years spending time at their lake place fishing and laughing with friends.  Marie spent over 20 years volunteering for the EAA Chapter #380 fly in breakfast held in Grafton, North Dakota. 

Marie will be missed by the many people who she touched their hearts.

Marie is survived by her husband, Dennis; brothers Kevin Knaus (East Grand Forks), Kelly Knaus (Grand Forks); sister, Lori (Allan) Wimpfheimer (Grand Forks); nephews, Maxwell (Seth) Pickett (New York) and Samuel Pickett (Grand Forks).

Marie was preceded in death by per parents, Eugenia and George Knaus, Sister, Karen Knaus Pickett, Mother-in-law, Helen Schultz; father-in-law, Dominick Schultz;  Grandparents and several uncles and aunts.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024 in St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Manvel, North Dakota. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass in the church.  Interment will be at a later date in St. Timothy’s Catholic Cemetery, Manvel, North Dakota.
